The Tupelo Police Department is rich in history and has earned the reputation as one of the premier law enforcement agencies in the state. The Tupelo Police Department operates under the Community Oriented Policing philosophy which ensures a close relationship with the public that we serve. Based on the strong support of our citizens and our government leaders, and the professionalism and dedication of our men and women in blue, we boast one of the lowest crime rates in the state.

In this website, our department leaders will detail their respective divisions and give a short brief on each unit. We are proud of the 115 sworn officers and 14 administrative personnel that make up the Tupelo Police Department. Our city has approximately 52 square miles that we divide into 10 patrol zones for service. Our Three divisions (Patrol Services, Investigative Services & Special Operations) work together to provide effective law enforcement services to our city. It is my honor and privilege to serve as Chief of Police of our great city.
