School Resource Officers Program
The mission of the School Resource Officer Program is to focus on the
prevention of juvenile delinquency through frequent contacts with students
and through programs specifically developed to respond to those factors
and conditions, which give rise to delinquency.
The program also provides for recognition of pre-delinquent behavior in
students and for their referral to the appropriate agency or school personnel
for assistance when it becomes apparent that these pre-delinquent students
have social, economic, or psychological problems which might result in
dependency, delinquency, or violent behavior.
